Terms of Service

Effective date: August 4, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the website octopel.com (the “Site”), operated by Octopel (“Octopel,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Use of the Site

You may use the Site to learn about Octopel’s electrical services, request a quote, or contact us. You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and not to:

  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information through any form
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site or any connected system
  • Interfere with the Site’s normal operation (for example, through malware, scraping at scale, or denial-of-service activity)
  • Use the Site to violate any applicable law or the rights of others

2. The Site Is Informational

Content on the Site — including service descriptions, pricing factors, and general electrical information — is provided for general informational purposes only. It is not a quote, guarantee, or substitute for an on-site assessment. Actual scope, pricing, and scheduling for electrical work are confirmed separately, once Octopel reviews your specific request.

3. Submitting a Request

When you submit a form on the Site, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you have the right to share it with us. Submitting a request does not guarantee that Octopel will be available to perform the work, and does not create a binding service agreement — that is confirmed separately once scope, pricing, and scheduling are agreed.

4. Intellectual Property

The Site and its content — including text, graphics, logos, and images — are owned by Octopel or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may view and share Site content for personal, non-commercial reference, but you may not copy, reproduce, or reuse it for commercial purposes without our written permission.

The Site may link to third-party websites or tools we do not control (for example, a mapping service). We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party site.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Octopel is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site. This limitation applies to use of the website itself; it does not apply to or limit any separate agreement, estimate, or warranty Octopel provides for actual electrical work performed at your property.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Octopel harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your misuse of the Site or your violation of these Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Effective date” above reflects the most recent version. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
